Omіrzak Rystanuly

  • Omirzak Rystanuly, born in 1950 in Ulan-Bator, Mongolia, is an artist celebrated for his distinctive style of embroidery painting. His works offer a vivid depiction of Kazakhstan's history and seamlessly merge traditional techniques with modern aesthetics.

    Omirzak Rystanuly has actively participated in the artistic community and has been a member of the Artists' Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 1992. His artistic talent is acknowledged beyond Kazakhstan; in 2019, he was inducted into the Artists' Union of the Republic of Cyprus, underscoring his international recognition and success.

    Rystanuly's artistic education commenced in Germany, where he studied at the Herder Institute in Leipzig and the Academy of Arts in Halle, Germany. His training focused on painting, and these years enriched his artistic vision and craftsmanship.
