Orazbek Yesenbayev

  • Orazbek Yesenbayev, born in 1960 in Almaty, is a Kazakhstan artist renowned for innovative techniques and socially relevant themes. He began his artistic education at the Gogol Art School in Alma-Ata and later continued his studies at the Zhurgenov AGTHI. He's a member of the Academy of Arts and the Union of Artists in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

    One of Yesenbayev's distinguishing features as an artist is his use of a ballpoint pen as his primary medium. In a recent series, he explored the use of brown paper, giving his artwork added depth and tone. His artistic style is marked by its unique compositions, particularly the elongated and distorted human forms rich in symbolic meaning.
